This Sunday is World Kindness Day – an international day to recognise the importance of being kind – and what better time to support a not-for-profit dedicated to promoting kindness?

The Kindness Factory is on a mission to inspire everyone to be kind, have fun, stay connected, reach out for help, exercise resilience, and treat others with dignity and respect.

In 2021 we made our first donation to the organisation, and today we’re proud to announce another $50,000.

Chief Executive Officer Kath Koschel said the donation would help spread the Kindness Curriculum, the organisation’s education programs in schools designed to build attributes such as empathy, gratitude, perspective and collaboration.

The Lott’s Partnerships Manager Ally Ramsamy was delighted to continue our ongoing relationship.

“Our partnership with the Kindness Factory has helped us learn more about the importance of kindness and its important role in making the world a better place,” she said.

“And we hope with this donation and the organisation’s incredible work, others will see that too."

One of the best things about the Kindness Factory is the Kindness Log, where people log #onesmallact of kindness. Since 2015, more than 4.2 million acts – from paying for coffee for palliative care nurses at a hospital to leaving a sweet note on someone’s car windscreen – have been lodged, showing that a small act of kindness can have significant impact.
