In recent years, Australia has experienced unpredictable and devastating natural disasters such as floods and bushfires.

Disaster Relief Australia is a not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting communities before, during and after these events by combining the skills of Australian Defence Force veterans, emergency responders and everyday Australians to rapidly deploy relief teams both here and overseas.

Keno is proud to today announce a $200,000 donation to DRA to help continue its services such as debris management, home repairs and volunteer management to impacted communities.

Keno is enjoyed in clubs and pubs across the eastern seaboard of Australia, which often act at DRA operation headquarters where relief efforts are organised and run.

Keno has always been there to assist us in bringing help and hope to communities impacted by disasters, whether it be through financial support or volunteering on the ground alongside us.

We’re incredibly proud of our partnership with Keno and hope to see it continue into the future.

Geoffrey Evans, DRA Chief Executive Officer

Keno GM of Licensed Venue Operations Paul Malek said today’s donation bought Keno’s support of DRA to $600,000.

“With natural disasters increasing in prevalence and intensity, we know the work DRA does is so important, but they can’t do it alone,” he said.

“We want to play our part by supporting DRA so they can continue to assist more communities impacted by natural disasters. We couldn’t be prouder to continue that legacy of support today.”
