For more than 40 years, the Childhood Cancer Association has been a pillar of strength for sick kids and their families in South Australia.

The Lott by SA Lotteries has been a proud partner of CCA for the past six years. Our support continues with today’s $100,000 donation to help tailored services such as counselling, education and accommodation remain cost-free and accessible to more families facing the challenges of childhood cancer.

This year, CCA launched a new support service after identifying nutrition as a gap in a child’s treatment journey.

“Nutrition for kids for their healthy bones and healthy muscles is essential and we identified this as an area that our services needed to offer,” CCA chief Cath O’Loughlin said.

“We have recently opened this service as of June and it’s because of the support of The Lott, not only just in the past 12 months but over the past six years, that allows us to plan for the future and work on developing projects just like this.

“We are so grateful to have the continued support of The Lott, which ensures we can be there for families today, tomorrow and well into the future.”

Our Partnerships Manager Liz McPherson said it was a privilege to support the association to help children and families affected by childhood cancer get much-needed support.
